Situated in the Yichun Economic & Technological Development Zone, Crown Advanced Material Co., Ltd. is the first enterprise incubated in the Development Zone that was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company researches high polymer materials for the encapsulation of new energy batteries. It has also developed special-purpose composite materials including solar cell module backsheets and several types of film, namely solar cell encapsulation film, multifunctional film and lithium cell encapsulation aluminum laminated film. It now boasts three domestic manufacturing bases in Yichun, Suzhou and Hefei (under construction), and a base in Vietnam. It has also established the Jiangxi Photovoltaic Composite Materials Engineering Technology Center and Suzhou R&D Center, with laboratories certified through DEKRA witness testing. 

The company holds nearly 130 patents, including nine PCT patents, and it is one of the entities that drafted the national standard for solar backsheets and group standard for aluminum laminated film for lithium cells. It is a nationally certified specialized, high-end and innovation-driven "little giant" enterprise, and an enterprise with intellectual property advantages. Its products have won second and third prizes at the Jiangxi Science and Technology Advancement Awards. 

The solar backsheets of Crown are widely used for solar cell (PV) modules, and the company currently has a 60GW module supply capacity. Its shipment of environmentally friendly fluorine-free backsheets ranks first in the world and its terminals have been operating stably for 16 consecutive years without any failure. Crown is focused on the R&D and sales of N-type cell encapsulating materials. Thanks to its years of technology development in encapsulating materials, Crown is the most advanced company providing overall solutions for N-type cell encapsulating materials such as TOPCon, HJT and IBC. Its N-type cell encapsulation film production capacity is 25GW, including 15GW in Yichun and 10GW in Vietnam, and the planned Hefei Base will have a 50GW production capacity. Crown specializes in the R&D, production and sales of aluminum laminated film for lithium pouch cell encapsulation, having invented the drying-heating hybrid process which substantially enhances electrolyte resistance, deep drawability, hot encapsulation stability and formability. Its products are widely used in power systems, energy systems and digital batteries. Its cells have been mounted on vehicles for six years and achieved 100,000 km of travel with zero customer complaints.
