HomeOn May 16th, the 15th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2023) opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Baoan). CIBF2023 was organized in 240,000 m2 space (12 large venues). Over 2,500 exhibitors from the cell industry came to the Fair. This event gathered the high-end resources and intelligence of administrative, industrial, academic, research and media entities in the upstream and downstream sectors of the industry chain to intensively analyze the hot spots and current status of the industry, and gain insights into its future trends. The participants shared their thoughts, experience and common understanding, contributed new visions and practical paths for industry upgrading, and provided strong support for the high-quality development of the industry. Jiangxi Crown Lithium Film Co., Ltd. showcased many of its products, drawing a high level of attention.
At the Fair, Crown showcased a whole series of products, including lithium pouch cell and solar cell encapsulating material solutions. Specifically, these products were the aluminum laminated film CAP168/CAP158/CAP153 for energy storage, black film CAB113/CAB103 and silver film CAN113/CAN088 for digital 3c, and EVA/EPE/POE/mesh film for solar PV module encapsulation.
As a key encapsulating material for pouch cells, aluminum laminated film is constrained by high technological barriers. The market of aluminum laminated film for power batteries has long been dominated by imported products, while domestically produced aluminum laminated film has not been used for vehicle-mounted power batteries for a long time and there is less demonstration data, so customers have interest in it but not much confidence. As such, Crown independently developed its highly reliable aluminum laminated film for power batteries using its six patented film manufacturing technologies. This product has high safety, excellent reliability and exceptional consistency. With regard to practical applications, the aluminum laminated film CAP153 for the power batteries of four-wheel vehicles has been in use for six years and achieved 200,000 km of travel without a single complaint from the end customers. It has demonstrated high safety performance and won the wide recognition of the customers. Besides, the aluminum laminated film has seven excellent properties, namely deep drawability, excellent electrolyte resistance, excellent insulation, strong heat resistance, high heat sealing strength, excellent resistance to dampness, heat and ageing, and resistance to high/low temperature.
